Hey friends,
So I have a new book out today. It’s called Garden City: Work, Rest, and the Art of Being Human.
A few years ago I did a series on work at Bridgetown. It was only a few weeks long, but our church is still talking about it. We tapped into some deep, visceral hunger that I think goes far beyond our community.
So for the last few years I’ve been working on a book that deals with work and the ongoing conversation around vocation, or calling. Plus, I added a ton of stuff on the Sabbath, a deep passion of mine.
But really this book is about the ancient, primal, human question: Why am I here and what should I do about it?
Garden City is available online or at your local bookstore, in hardback, e-book, and audio book formats (but if you can, go for the hardback, it’s gorgeous).
For those of you who want to help spread the word, here’s a few ways:
1 – Tell your family and friends
2 – Post something to social media (The hashtag is #gardencitybook)
3 – Write a review on Amazon.com
Mostly, I just hope you enjoy the read, and that it helps you cooperate with heaven’s invasion of earth.
